This week, McDonald's introduced new Adult Happy Meals, and everyone is obsessed with the characters in you.

You can get 10 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac, and each box includes one of four collectible toys.

The four-eyed characters were designed in collaboration with streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market.

Three of them are based on McDonald's mascots, while the fourth is a new character who looks like a McDonald's employee.

Meet the four Happy Meal characters

Grimace

Grimace, a round purple creature with arms and legs who appeared in McDonaldland commercials, inspired one of the collectible toys.

McDonaldland is a McDonald's media franchise and the fictional fantasy world in which Ronald McDonald and his friends live.

Ronald McDonald was created in 1963, and all of the other characters were gradually added over the years.

Grimace is a sluggish character who says 'duh' before every sentence.

He began as an evil character with four arms that he used to steal milkshakes, but he later changed his ways and had two of his arms removed.

 

Hamburglar

 

Hamburglar, another close friend of Ronald McDonald at McDonaldland, is the third of the four adult Happy Meal toys.

He is a thief who dresses in a black and white striped suit with a red tie, cape, and hat and tries to steal all the hamburgers.

Hamburglar first appeared in popular commercials in March 1971 and was one of the first villains to turn good.

He was originally known as the Lone Jogger and wore gray hair, but his name and clothing were changed, and he was given the catchphrase 'robble robble.'

 

Birdie

Birdie, or Birdie the Early Bird, is another character on the Cactus Plant Flea Market box. She was the first female character in McDonaldland advertisements.

It is a yellow bird wearing pink overalls and an aviator cap that was introduced in 1980 to promote the fast food chain's new breakfast items.

Birdie is a clumsy flyer who has appeared in numerous print and television commercials for the restaurant chain.

When a giant egg fell from the sky and hatched, revealing Birdie, the McDonaldland gang decided to befriend her and stay at McDonaldland.

Cactus Buddy

Cactus Buddy, an all-new character created exclusively for the McDonalds x Cactus Plant Flea Market collaboration, is the final collectible.

He is a yellow man who only wears a white McDonald's T-shirt and a hat that resembles a fast food employee.

Cactus Buddy's face is inspired by the iconic four-eyed yellow smiley face designs of the streetwear brand.

The eccentric fashion label creates t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, and accessories, many of which feature the smiley face.

Every character has four eyes.

All of the toys in the Happy Meal are based on McDonald's mascots, but with a Cactus Plant Flea Market twist.

Each of them has four eyes, two pairs one beneath the other, inspired by the eccentric design on his clothing label.

T-shirts, sweaters, and joggers range in price from $60 to $150, and a great set of teddies is available for $250.

"We're literally repackaging one of the most nostalgic McDonald's experiences in a new way that's highly relevant to our adult fans," said McDonald's USA chief marketing and customer experience officer. He stated.

How much do Adult Happy Meals at McDonald's cost?

Adult Happy Meals at McDonald's do not have a set price, and the cost per box varies by restaurant and state.

Prices range from $9 to $13, which is more than a 10-piece Chicken McNugget or Big Mac meal would normally cost.

One Twitter user claimed the box cost $10.79, while another claimed the new Adult Happy Meal cost $9.39.

Another said they paid $11.02, while another said they paid $12.33 for the new Adult Happy Meal.

What exactly is a cactus plant flea market?

Adult Happy Meals were introduced on October 3 and will be available throughout the United States for the remainder of the month, while supplies last.

It's a collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market, which creates "original streetwear with signature dye and lettering treatments," according to McDonald's website.

The brand, founded in 2015 by the mysterious Cynthia Lu, is known for its quirky designs and has been worn by many musicians.

Because many of the brand's designs feature a yellow smiley face with four eyes, McDonald's toys have two sets of eyes.

To promote their new collection with McDonald's, the brand has removed all of their previous designs from their website, but they still make hoodies, t-shirts, joggers, and accessories.
