According to the US News & World Report ranking, the
United States is home to four of the best universities in the world that are
considered the best to study next year.
In the most recent exercise by the world authority on
education rankings, more than 1,700 schools were evaluated in academic research
and reputation, compared to nearly 1,500 last year.
Harvard University is ranked first, followed by the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the University
of California-Berkeley, which are ranked second, third, and fourth,
respectively. The University of Oxford in the United Kingdom rounds out the top
five.
Here are the top ten best global universities, as determined
by a survey of more than 90 countries:
1.Harvard University (United States). It is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and is a private university located on the outskirts of Boston (Massachusetts).
It provides careers in bioengineering, environmental
engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, and computer
engineering.
2. 2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (EU). It is a mixed and private research university that was founded in 1861 with the goal of promoting knowledge and educating students in science, technology, and other fields.

founded in 1885 by Jane and Leland Stanford to "promote the public welfare

ranking of more than 1,700 universities, as well as subject rankings from 255
additional universities, for a total of 2,005 schools, providing even more
information for prospective students interested in schools where research is
the top priority," explained Robert Morse, US News' chief data strategist.
Five new subjects were added for this new classification, bringing
the total to 43. Chemistry, physics, food science and technology, optics,
physics, condensed matter, and polymer science are among the new subjects.
