However, not all data will be deleted directly from Instagram's servers following your deletion request. The social network will simply hide them for a month – similar to a simple deactivation – before permanently deleting them. Enough time to allow you to reclaim your account if you change your mind.

1.   Log in to your Instagram account on your phone's browser

2.   Enter the address “  https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/ ” in the navigation bar

3.   Select the reason for suspending your account

4.   Enter your password

5.   Click on “delete [account name]”

1.   Log in to your Instagram account on your phone's browser

You can easily deactivate your Instagram account, either in the app or on the social network's website. However, keep in mind that this is not a permanent deletion, but rather a suspension. As a result, Instagram will keep your data, but you can recover it later if you want to.

2.   Click on your profile picture at the top right of the screen

3.   Click on “Settings”

4.   Open the "edit profile" tab

5.   Click on “Temporarily deactivate my account”

7.   Enter your password

8.   Click on “Temporarily deactivate account”

1.   Open the Instagram.com site

3.   Click on the toothed wheel at the top left of the screen

4.   Go to the “edit profile” menu

5.   Tap on “Temporarily deactivate my account”

6.   Select the reason for suspending your account

7.   Enter your password

8.   Click on “Temporarily deactivate account”

HOW TO REACTIVATE YOUR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT

If you decide to deactivate your Instagram account temporarily, you can reactivate it at any time by logging into the social network again.

However, if you have decided to delete your Instagram account permanently, you only have 30 days to change your mind. After this period of time, the data and your photos will be removed from the social network.
